Tiny Wedding Venue on Exmoor for 15–20 Guests

Many couples who contact us are looking for something very simple. They imagine a small ceremony, a relaxed meal together, and a beautiful place where their closest family and friends can gather. Often, they are searching for a small wedding venue in Exmoor where they can celebrate with just their closest family and friends.

Usually the guest list is around 15 to 20 people. What they are really looking for is somewhere private and welcoming, where the day can unfold naturally. This is exactly the kind of celebration that works beautifully here at MyTinyExmoorWedding. Our cottages and gardens lend themselves naturally to tiny weddings, where everyone can gather together for a ceremony, share drinks afterwards, and enjoy a meal in a relaxed and personal setting.

Although most couples choose to stay for two or three nights as part of their tiny wedding celebration, we also offer a simple venue-only option during the off-season.

A simple venue option for tiny Exmoor weddings

For couples planning a small celebration, we offer a tiny wedding venue option designed especially for intimate gatherings.

This allows couples to hire Pilgrim Corner for the day, with access for up to twelve hours. We combine our Complete Coordination package with exclusive use of the cottage, ensuring everything runs smoothly and comfortably for you and your guests.

Tiny wedding venue celebrations are available from £5,000, making it possible to hold a beautiful and intimate wedding without the scale of a large traditional venue.

What a commitment ceremony isn’t

  • It does not replace a legal marriage (unless you also handle paperwork through other means).

  • It doesn’t require a registry office or an official license.

  • It’s not about doing things “by the book” unless that’s part of your style - you write your own.

Because of that, many couples see it as a more honest expression of their connection.

What a venue-only tiny wedding might look like

  • Guests arrive from around 11am, gathering in the gardens or dining area depending on the weather. There is time to chat, take photographs, and enjoy the setting before the ceremony begins.

  • The ceremony itself is led by a celebrant, creating a personal and meaningful moment that reflects the couple and their story.

  • With a small group, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and everyone feels part of the occasion.

  • After the ceremony, drinks and photographs can take place in the gardens while our team prepares the table ready for your wedding meal.

  • Entertainment can be something simple and atmospheric, perhaps a harpist, a close-up magician, or quiet background music.

  • Carriages are at 10.30pm, bringing the day to a gentle close.
